Freeholder apps don't collect your data. They run on your machine, store files in folders you choose, and never phone home. We have no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no accounts. We don't know who you are, what you write, or how you use the software.
The only personal information we hold is your email address, and only if you gave it to us.
Email address — if you subscribe to our mailing list via the form on freeholder.dev. That's it. We collect nothing else.
We send you occasional updates about Freeholder — new apps, new versions, and the odd opinion about personal software. We will never send you marketing from third parties. We will never sell, share, or trade your email address with anyone, for any reason, ever.
Freeholder apps store all data locally in plain files on your device. We have no servers, no cloud sync, no user accounts, and no way to access your data. We don't use cookies on this website. We don't run analytics. We don't use tracking pixels. We don't fingerprint your browser.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record. Your payment details — card number, billing address, and financial information — are handled entirely by them. We never see, store, or have access to any of it. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link in any email we send. If you want your email address deleted entirely, email shahid@crescentcode.com and it will be removed within 48 hours. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. In practice, the only data we hold is your email address, and we'll delete it the moment you ask.
